At machinery fairs a stand is not a decoration job, it is an engineering job: a live CNC or injection moulding machine means tonnes of static load, vibration, three-phase power and often compressed air. If those are not calculated at the design stage, what gets built on show morning is a problem, not a stand.
On Vektra Machinery's 96 m² island stand at WIN Eurasia we ran three product lines live: machines sat on vibration-isolated steel platforms, cabling was concealed inside the deck, and meetings moved up to a mezzanine. We handled structural and electrical approvals with the organiser.
A layout that makes the machine the hero
The most common mistake on a machinery stand is parking the machine in the middle and leaving space around it. The right layout brings visitors close enough to see it running: platform height sets the eye line, and lighting picks out the moving part.
On island stands all four frontages must read. On the Vektra project a six-metre illuminated tower made the stand visible from the far end of the hall — possible only with the right structural approval, not just height.
The meeting area is the stand's real job
At a machinery fair, selling happens at the table, not inside the noise. Hosting high-decibel demos and technical meetings on the same footprint demands acoustic separation: double-skin panels, a mezzanine, or an enclosed meeting box.
On island stands, opening the ground floor to display and lifting meetings to a mezzanine extracts twice the value from the same m². That layout is standard in our custom stand work.
Approvals and timeline
Heights requiring structural sign-off, mezzanines, electrical drawings and rigging requests must reach the organiser 4–6 weeks before the fair. Late submissions risk surcharges or refusal, and machine freight has to be planned backwards from the same date.

Yes. We engineer steel platforms, isolation and power infrastructure around your weight, load and vibration figures, and handle structural and electrical approvals with the organiser.
Will hall floor load limits be a problem?
Halls have load limits per m². Share the machine weights and we calculate load distribution, designing a spreader platform where needed.
What does a machinery fair stand cost?

Can I have a double-deck stand?
Yes, where hall height and organiser rules allow. Mezzanines need structural drawings and extra approval — start 4–6 weeks before the fair.
