Automechanika Istanbul runs 19–22 May 2026 at Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre — its 16th edition. It is Turkey's most comprehensive gathering for the automotive aftermarket: spare parts, repair and maintenance, accessories and workshop equipment, and a fixture in regional buyers' calendars for years.

Building at Tüyap: what to know
Tüyap is Turkey's largest fair complex, and at an event like Automechanika that fills the halls, build-up traffic becomes a logistics problem in itself. Dock slots, forklift and crane bookings and power connection appointments are reserved days in advance; exhibitors who plan them late lose the first day of build-up.

What an Automechanika stand has to get right
The visitor here is a distributor, fleet manager or service-chain buyer. They know the product, they know the catalogue, and they want one thing from your stand: to find their own product group fast. Organising the product wall by category, giving it a headline readable from the aisle, and keeping a seated area behind it will outperform any decorative gesture with this audience.

Timeline and budget: count backwards
The ideal countdown: contractor selected 12 weeks out, design approved 8–10 weeks out, venue approvals submitted 4–6 weeks out, artwork delivered 2–3 weeks out. May is a busy stretch for production workshops and capacity fills early.
