Transparent Pricing
Exhibition Stand Cost 2026
We don't hide the numbers: per-m² ranges by stand type, what drives the price, and exactly what is and isn't included.
Exhibition stand cost is set by stand type: shell scheme and rental stands run roughly €60–150 per m², modular systems €150–280, maxima systems €180–320, and fully custom wooden builds €350–700 per m². For a 36 m² corner custom stand, a realistic turnkey budget is €15,000–25,000.
The tables below are indicative; the exact figure depends on design complexity, materials, technology and the venue. This page explains transparently how the numbers are built, what is included, and how to get the most from your budget.

Why building from Turkey pays
The same design and workmanship costs €500–1,500 per m² with Western European contractors (custom builds at Messe Frankfurt run €600–1,200). Producing in Turkey and installing in Europe is typically 30–50% cheaper, freight included — on our 54 m² MEDICA stand the gap came out at 38%.
What turnkey includes
- Photorealistic 3D concept design with revisions
- Production (timber, metal, plexiglass) and workshop pre-assembly test
- Large-format graphic printing and application
- Freight and delivery to the venue
- Installation, flooring, lighting and essential furniture
- On-site or on-call technical support during the show
- Post-show dismantling and packing
What is NOT included
These are payable to the organiser and are listed explicitly as exclusions in our quotes. Always check this split when comparing offers — a cheaper-looking quote usually hides them.
- Floor space (m²) rental
- Power connection fee and metering
- In-hall rigging charges
- Exhibitor badges, parking and access passes
- Empty-case storage (chargeable at most European venues)
- Catering and hostess services
Cost Drivers
What drives the price
Stand position
10–25%An island stand must read from four sides, demanding more visual surface and design than an inline stand.
Mezzanine / double deck
30–50%Needs structural drawings, steel and extra approvals. It doubles usable area but inflates budget faster than anything else.
LED walls and technology
15–40%LED walls, touchscreens and interactive setups — rented or purchased, they move the budget significantly.
Materials and finishes
10–30%Lacquer, real veneer, stone and glass raise both production and freight cost versus melamine and printed panels.
Venue location
10–25%Abroad, freight, customs (ATA carnet) and crew travel enter the budget — the further the venue, the bigger the share.
Lead time
5–20%Booking 8–12 weeks ahead earns production priority; rush jobs carry a surcharge.
Savings
Four ways to stretch the budget
Book early. Signing 8–12 weeks before the fair removes rush surcharges and approval risk.
Reuse the stand. Store the structure and refresh only the graphics — up to 40% off the annual budget.
Run a hybrid strategy. Custom at your flagship fair, a modular system carrying the same visual language elsewhere.
Check the incentives. For fairs abroad, Turkish Ministry of Trade support can cover part of stand, freight and space costs — verify current terms before applying.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does an exhibition stand cost per m²?
As of 2026: shell scheme/rental €60–150 per m², modular systems €150–280, maxima systems €180–320, and custom wooden builds €350–700 per m².
What does a 36 m² stand cost?
A mid-to-premium 36 m² corner custom stand built from Turkey is realistically €15,000–25,000 turnkey. The same project from a Western European contractor typically reaches €25,000–45,000.
Does the price include floor space?
No. Floor space rental, power connection and rigging are payable to the organiser; our quotes list these explicitly as exclusions.
Do I pay separately for the 3D design?
No. Concept design and a reasonable number of revisions are part of the quoting process; payment starts only when you approve the design for production.
Is the price fixed against currency movements?
We fix the price in the contract and state its validity period. As long as the approved scope does not change, there is no extra ask at handover.
Why do some firms quote far less?
Usually a scope difference: installation, freight, printing or dismantling may be excluded. Compare quotes by equalising scope and reducing to cost per m².
