Cosmetics & Beauty Exhibition Stands
Cosmetics stands built like boutique retail — high-CRI light that shows the true shade, and demo flow that never jams.
At a beauty fair the stand does not sell a product, it sells a shelf: visitors want the product in their hand the moment they step in. So a cosmetics stand has two problems to solve — light and touch. True shade needs high colour rendering (CRI 90+) at the right temperature, not the hall's ambient wash. Hands-on trial needs mirrors, water access and someone able to clean mid-day. And the display has to let samples run down in order rather than scatter. The buyer is picturing your product on their own shelf, so the stand has to speak retail.
On Lumea Kozmetik's stand at Beauty Eurasia we built 48 m² as a boutique: an illuminated vitrine on the frontage, a demo bar inside, a closed meeting area at the back. Visitors walk in like customers, and buyers can lift the whole layout straight into their own store.
A stand built like a store
The best reference for a beauty stand is not another stand, it is a shop. The illuminated vitrine on the frontage stops the visitor, the island counter inside puts product in their hand, and the closed room at the back closes the order. All three layers fit comfortably into 40–60 m² — provided you don't push display out to the walls and leave the middle empty.
On the Lumea project the demo bar sits at 45 degrees to the frontage rather than dead centre: passers-by see the trial happening, and whoever is trying the product isn't standing with their back to the crowd. We use the same logic in our retail design work.
Colour doesn't lie — light does
In cosmetics one technical mistake ruins the whole stand: the wrong light. Hall ambient is usually cool and low in colour rendering, and under it a foundation reads grey and a lipstick reads flat. The fix is to cut display surfaces off from hall light altogether: CRI 90+ continuous lighting at 3000–3500 K inside vitrines and over the counter.
Mirror lighting is a separate calculation. When someone tries product on their own face the light has to arrive from the side and shadow-free; a mirror lit from above shows fatigue, not product. Miss this on the drawing and it cannot be fixed on site.
Samples, security and the calendar
On beauty stands samples are both the strongest sales tool and the biggest loss line. Product on an open shelf is gone by close of day one; product behind glass never gets touched. The balance is trial stock on the counter, sales stock in a lockable vitrine, and a store that can be shut overnight designed into the plan from the start.
At a busy show like Beauty Eurasia, stand location and the production calendar move together: planning 8–12 weeks ahead buys you room in both the build schedule and graphics approvals. Share your sample count and demo scenario at quotation stage and we take it from there.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you make sure the shade reads correctly?
We cut display surfaces off from hall ambient. Vitrines and counters get CRI 90+ continuous lighting at 3000–3500 K, and mirror light is built to arrive from the side, shadow-free.
Can I run demos and applications on the stand?
Yes. The demo bar is designed with mirrors, a sink, fresh and waste water and mid-day cleaning access. Where fragrance is tested we plan ventilation and scent separation so nothing accumulates.
How is sample security handled?
Trial stock stays open on the counter, sales stock sits in a lockable vitrine, and a concealed store that shuts overnight goes into the plan from the first drawing.
What does a cosmetics fair stand cost?
Modular builds run €150–280 per m², maxima systems €180–320, bespoke joinery €350–700; vitrines and specified lighting push toward the upper band. See our pricing page for the breakdown.
