Automotive & Aftermarket Exhibition Stands

Automotive stands that carry a full parts range, a vehicle and a day-long dealer programme on one footprint.

An automotive stand has to do two opposing jobs at once: display a range of hundreds of parts so it stays legible, and host dealer meetings that run all day. Those two fight each other — a product wall pulls traffic to the frontage, while meetings need a table and quiet. Add a vehicle or a heavy component to the display and floor loading, forklift access and build sequencing become day-one design decisions rather than site problems.

On Rotor Otomotiv's stand at Automechanika Istanbul we split 120 m² along exactly that line: a 9-metre product wall with an LED tunnel set into it on the frontage, and a 40-person dealer area behind. The wall stayed visible across the hall while meetings ran uninterrupted on the other side of it.

Product wall or meeting table? Both.

Automotive stands split their floor area between two functions, and the split usually goes wrong. Spread the product through the interior and the frontage empties; put the meetings on the frontage and you stop visitors at the door. The right answer stacks them back to back, not on top of each other: display on the aisle-facing frontage, meetings in the body behind it.

On the Rotor project the product wall did both jobs at once: from the hall the 9-metre wall was the range; from inside the stand it was the quiet back of the dealer area. One surface, two functions — and a 40-person meeting space inside 120 m².

Weight, floor and build sequence

If you are showing a vehicle or a heavy component, the conversation starts with the floor, not the design. Halls carry a load limit per m², and a vehicle's weight arrives through four contact patches as point loading, which is spread with a load-distributing platform where required. Which door the vehicle enters through, and in what order, belongs on the same drawing.

Get that sequence wrong and there is no recovery: you cannot put a car into a stand whose shell has already closed. Share part weights and vehicle dimensions and we run the floor, access and structural approvals with the organiser. Submissions go in 4–6 weeks before the fair.

Not rebuilding from scratch every year

In the aftermarket the range changes every year; the stand doesn't have to. Put replaceable graphics and shelving over a modular structural system and the only things renewed for the next show are the product and the print. Modular systems run €150–280 per m², maxima builds €180–320.

Can I display a vehicle on the stand?

Yes. Because vehicle weight arrives as point loading we run a floor-load calculation and design a load-spreading platform where needed. Entry door and build sequence go on the drawing, and we handle the approvals with the organiser.

How do you keep hundreds of parts legible?

We build the product wall on a modular structural system: the range is broken into a clear hierarchy, and lighting plus graphic grouping carry the legibility. When the range changes, only shelving and print change.

How do you separate dealer meetings from hall noise?

The meeting area sits behind the display, using the product wall itself as an acoustic divider. For heavier meeting programmes we add double-skin panels or an enclosed meeting box.

Is heavy-part display similar to a machinery stand?
