Tüyap Fair and Congress Centre sits in Büyükçekmece on the E-5 highway and is Turkey's largest fair complex. It runs an uninterrupted calendar year-round; Automechanika Istanbul (19–22 May 2026), the Istanbul Furniture Fair and the Istanbul Book Fair (12–20 December 2026) are among the events staged there.

The Istanbul Book Fair runs 12–20 December 2026 on a different rhythm, spread across nine days. That variety has a practical consequence: the right stand at Tüyap is conceived differently from the outset depending on which fair you are joining. What Tüyap's build-up conditions mean for exhibitors
The complex's size is an advantage and a planning burden in equal measure. At busy editions, dock slots, forklift and crane bookings and power connection appointments are reserved days ahead; exhibitors who leave it late spend day one of build-up waiting on site. The distances between halls also turn internal material movement into a line you have to plan.
Because the venue sits on the E-5, deliveries are scheduled around the city's peak traffic hours — putting build-up trucks into the night or early-morning window is the only realistic option on most projects. We run that planning as part of the stand; the detail is on our stand installation page.
Timeline and budget
Whichever Tüyap fair you join, the countdown is the same: contractor selected 12 weeks out, design approved 8–10 weeks out, venue approvals submitted 4–6 weeks out, artwork delivered 2–3 weeks out. May and December are the venue's busiest stretches, and production capacity fills even earlier for those editions.
